Technology
At Samurai Dental Laboratory, high caliber weapons aid us with our quest for fabricating dental prostheses with unprecedented accuracy.
We use the Zirkonzahn CAD/CAM Full Automatic Milling System that features the following components:
- Fully automated optical strip-light scanner that uses twin-cameras and ultra-precision axis control for scanning individual dies, arch segments, full arch models, bite records, opposing dentition, wax-ups, mushbite, veneers, and abutments.
- Proprietary (Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing CAD/CAM) software that produces a 3-Dimensional image of crown and bridge work.
- Multi-colored LED screen that enables visual milling progress monitoring.
- Fully automated milling system that has 5-axis milling technology applicable for: Crowns and Bridges, Models, Occlusally-screwed Bridges, Abutments, Bars, Attachments, etc.
- Sintering Oven that is specially designed for the high-strength, high-translucent Prettau Zirconia used to create a high-gloss, non-porous surface finish that eliminates ceramic chipping problems and reduces abrasions to opposing natural dentition.
- Millable materials:
Pre-sintered zirconium dioxide (ICE Zirkon Translucent, Prettau Zirconia), pre-sintered alumina, resin, wax
